Senior Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist
About The Position:
The Senior Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist ensures all required due diligence items are received and reviewed to prepare and produce complex commercial loan documentation closing packages. The Specialist engages loan-related third-party vendors (ie, title companies, legal counsel, collateral monitoring services, etc.) and interacts with all areas of the organization, providing loan closing status updates, recognizing and escalating issues as applicable, and ensuring a complete commercial loan eFile is maintained throughout the closing process supporting the ability to sell the loan to participants and/or investors in the future.
To meet senior-level requirements, candidates must have hands-on commercial loan doc prep experience (min 5-7 yrs).

What You’ll Be Doing
- Effectively demonstrate our passion and purpose as a non-profit organization by “Helping More People Live Greater.”
- Demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge and ability to arrange loan closings for larger, more complex credits
- Accurately process UCC filings, and modify loan extension requests.
- Maintain knowledge of documentation guidelines and process SBA, conventional, and SBA loan files.
- Assist Management with preparing monthly production and income reports and submit them to Accounting within established deadlines.
- Create/maintain new policies and procedures related to commercial documentation in Policy Tech.

Preferred Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
- Commercial Lending Experience with specific knowledge in documenting USDA, SBA and conventional loans.
- Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and ability to arrange loan closings for larger, more complex commercial credits.
- High Level of Reasoning, analysis, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and remotely to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to understand and apply statutory and regulatory compliance matters.
- Effectively train Documentation Specialists on new processes, changes to Guaranteed Loan (USDA/SBA) regulations and assist with construction loan draws when necessary.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit/stand and use a keyboard, mouse, phone, and multiple monitors for an extended period (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.).
- You may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
