SVP, Director of IT Operations
The position of Director of IT Operations is established to oversee, direct daily activities, plan, organize IT operations and infrastructure services and ensure the effective, efficient, and secure operations and regulatory compliance.
The position has potential for a Hybrid work opportunities.
Collaborate with executive and senior management level stakeholders to oversee the implementation and operation of strategic and tactical IT initiatives.
Report and advise the Chief Information Officer on the Strategic plan and progress towards implementation of that plan.
Oversee daily activities of the Infrastructure Engineering Team, Service Desk, Contracted Vendor Services and any other IT related functions as needed.
Participate in IT Steering committee and other supporting management level committees such as Change Advisory Board and Project Management Committee as established by the Bank’s governance program.
Develop the tactical IT project roadmap to meet strategic goals, establish Key Performance Indicators, track and report to appropriate committees.
Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all IT related hardware, software and cloud services on behalf of the bank.
Create a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows.
Oversee implementation of IT components of Information Security Program, IT Risk Management Program, IT Vendor Management Program and Incident Response
Provide bank employees with top quality, consistently available computer service, support training and maintenance of all computer systems used throughout the bank.
Responsible for oversight of procurement installation and maintenance of all computer hardware and software and all other products and supplies necessary to keep computer systems operable and to fulfill managements requests for computer support.
Create, maintain and enforce written policies and procedures regarding all computer operations in the IT Department and throughout the bank.
Compile and review records to determine department productivity, quality of output and cost of service. Develop methods to continually improve results.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required: BA/BS in information systems related degree or business
Desirable: Master’s degree in information systems or MBA, Banking industry experience
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT leadership
