Tech 1: This technician is skilled in reading and applying work instructions, using tape measures, selecting proper tools for standard unit assembly, using small hand tools, basic electrical work, and installing various accessories. They have a general knowledge of basic installations and mechanical background, with expertise in bumpers, body mounting, trailer plug wiring, Latch-Matic system installation, gas and DEF fill, and upfitting standard core products.
Tech 2: This technician is qualified to build dump truck and platform units, troubleshoot and install electrical systems, wire inverters exceeding 1500w, and install strobe lights. They possess basic knowledge of light fabrication, welding, intermediate-level skills in mounting service bodies, reading products, and installing basic electrical systems. Capable of training others.
Tech 3: Qualified in reading and interpreting schematics, this technician has advanced electrical and hydraulic knowledge. They can operate a 10k electric/hydraulic crane, troubleshoot and lead most upfitting projects, and are highly skilled in upfitting and welding.
Tech 4: This technician has advanced skills and can back up a Lead TM/Supervisor, operate a 10k electric/hydraulic crane, and lead complex hydraulic installations. They excel in electrical work, quality inspections, and welding, including being weld certified. They possess ECM/TCM knowledge.
**Must provide own tools, not interested in Diesel Techs- unless specialized in Hydraulic Installation**
